The Barn is located on a large tract that provides plenty of opportunities for wildlife viewing, birding, or just taking a walk. Whitetail deer, turkeys, and other animals love to use the creekside pasture as a travel and feeding route, so bring binoculars!

The property also fronts Suches Creek, which is a beautiful tributary of the Toccoa River and can have fruitful fishing for species like Rainbow Trout. The Barn is also not far from Lake Winfield Scott, and is also just down the road from Vogel State Park, the Appalachian Trail, Coopers Creek and the Toccoa River. The remainder of the area surrounding the house is mostly Chattahoochee National Forest land, which is ripe for exploring.

For avid anglers, the property near a number of streams that run through public lands. We also suggest Black Mountain Trout Ponds, Coopers Creek, Frogtown Creek, the Toccoa River, the Chestatee River. There are numerous other great trout fisheries in the area as well and some of these waters hold other species like largemouth bass and panfish, with those and other species also being plentiful in Lake Winfield Scott and Vogel State Park.
