Port O’Connor, in the heart of Texas coastal bend, is the meca of trophy inshore and offshore fishing as well as one of the main flyways for waterfowl hunting. We are known for both inshore and offshore fishing for redfish, trout, flounder, snapper, black drum, sheep head and sharks. Port O’Connor has numerous kayak trails, several areas for walk-in wading, pier and jetty fishing and many professional guides that can cater to your specific fishing needs. For bird enthusiast, Port O’Connor is the main winter roosting for the endangered Whooping Cranes and is a featured site on the Calhoun Loop of the Great Texas Birding Trail and an eBird Hotspot.
