On the other hand, the stretch from Black Mountain Campground to Pisgah Game Land Border is a paradise for catch-and-release aficionados. Downstream, the lower South Toe River presents stocked fishing areas with wade-friendly access points, creating an ideal setting for dry fly and nymph fishing that’s suitable for all skill levels year-round.
