Christal’s Castaway

This spacious, beachy, home is full of light and ready to be your next getaway! The open concept living, dining, and kitchen area will give you room for the entire crew to gather and enjoy meals and family time. Downstairs is a game room with a bar area, and has tons of room for entertaining. The home comfortably sleeps 10. And if you’re bringing an RV, the house also has 2 level, concrete pads with full hookups that can also be rented for overflow!

The canal-side raised deck and patio area, with large mature trees offering shade on hot Texas days is one of our guest’s favorite places to relax. With the attached private pier for fishing and easy kayaking, this spot is sure to please. It’s a castaway’s dream.

First and foremost, Sargent fishing takes center stage, providing experiences tailored to different angling preferences. Fly fishing enthusiasts explore bayous and coastal waters, targeting redfish, speckled trout, and flounder. Inshore fishing thrives in productive bay systems, marshes, and flats, offering opportunities for redfish, speckled trout, black drum, sheepshead, and flounder. Sargent’s offshore adventures in the Gulf of Mexico showcase kingfish, cobia, snapper, grouper, and other pelagic species. Charter services enhance the offshore fishing experience, providing access to larger game fish. Whether fly fishing inshore or venturing offshore, Sargent stands as a versatile haven for anglers.

For those passionate about duck hunting, there are abundant opportunities in the marshes and bayous surrounding Sargent. Prime grounds host species like mallards, pintails, gadwalls, and northern shovelers.
