The trails are amazing, with everything from gentle slopes to challenging runs that really get your adrenaline pumping. And the views! As you glide down, you’re surrounded by the stunning Selkirk Mountains, and on clear days, you can see all the way to Lake Pend Oreille. Plus, the snow is fantastic—light, powdery, and plentiful. There's also a great community vibe at the resort, with cozy lodges and friendly locals who make you feel right at home. Hiking: The trails are absolutely incredible, winding through the Selkirk Mountains and offering some of the most breathtaking views you’ll ever see. There’s something for everyone, from easy paths perfect for a leisurely walk to more challenging hikes that really get your heart pumping. One of my favorites is the trail that takes you up to the summit—when you get to the top, you’re rewarded with panoramic views of the mountains and Lake Pend Oreille. Plus, the air is so fresh and crisp, and you can often spot wildlife along the way, like deer and all kinds of birds. It’s such a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. Trust me, it’s a great way to spend a day! Horseback Riding: It's such a unique and serene way to explore the beautiful mountain trails. Imagine riding through the lush forests and open meadows, with the majestic Selkirk Mountains as your backdrop. The guided tours are fantastic, and the guides are so knowledgeable about the area—they'll point out all sorts of interesting plants and wildlife along the way. The horses are well-trained and gentle, perfect for both beginners and experienced riders. It's such a relaxing and immersive experience, and you really get to see the landscape in a whole new way.
