Fishing: Fresh water:  The Narraguagus River runs through Milbridge and offers excellent freshwater fishing opportunities. Anglers can find various species of trout, including brook trout and brown trout, as well as landlocked salmon. The river's diverse habitats, including deep pools and fast-moving rapids, make it an great spot for fly fishing and traditional bait fishing. There are also numerous ponds around the area that hold bass, perch, and sunfish. Salt water: Milbridge's proximity to Narraguagus Bay and the Gulf of Maine makes it a prime location for saltwater fishing. Inshore fishing in the bay and estuaries can yield striped bass and bluefish, both of which are popular among sport fishermen for their size and fighting spirit.For those willing to venture further out, the deeper waters off the coast are home to species like cod, haddock, and pollock.
