Seek solace in our secluded custom log home on four private acres within a gated community, tailored for outdoor enthusiasts. This rustic haven comprises three bedrooms, a roomy loft, and two well-appointed bathrooms. Two bedrooms feature queen beds, with the third offering bunk beds adjacent to a game room. The loft accommodates four with twin sofa chairs that convert into beds. A main-level master bedroom features a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. On the lower level, you'll find another full bathroom, a queen bedroom, a bunk bedroom, and a game area. The fully equipped kitchen complements the cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace. Outside, an enclosed wrap-around deck with seating and a grill awaits, perfect for unwinding and watching private sunsets after outdoor adventures.

Water Activities
Stand Up Paddle Boarding: Explore the clear lake's serene beauty and discover secluded swimming spots. Please note that permits are required for all watercraft, both motorized and non-motorized, issued by the Town of Lake Lure.

Lake Lure and its surroundings boast excellent birding spots, including Rumbling Bald Loop, Party Rock Trail, Buffalo Creek Park Loop, and Weed Patch Mountain Trail. Chimney Rock Park is also a haven for birdwatchers, with a diverse range of species to observe.
Fishing
Lake Lure is a prime destination for fishing enthusiasts, offering various species such as largemouth and smallmouth bass, trout, bream/bluegills, crappie, perch, white bass, carp, and multiple catfish species. Don't forget to acquire your fishing license from the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission.
Kayaking
Embark on a kayaking adventure around the lake, with a convenient kayak launch at Washburn Marina. For a more adventurous experience, explore the fast-moving waters of the Broad River below the lake.

Rock Climbing
Hickory Nut Gorge presents exceptional climbing opportunities. Chimney Rock Park's Rumbling Bald Climbing access caters to advanced climbers, while lessons are available for beginners. Explore iconic climbs like "The Sentinel," "Screamweaver," "Bumblebee Buttress," "Master Beta," "Two Pitch Route" at Rumbling Bald, and traditional climbing routes at "Whitsides Cliff" in Pisgah National Forest.
Florence Nature Preserve
Florence Nature Preserve offers a network of 5+ miles of hiking trails on 600 beautiful acres on the slopes of Little Pisgah Mountain. The preserve features pristine creeks and cascades, scenic rock outcrops, the ruins of an old homesite, and areas of old growth forest. It’s the perfect place to go for a quiet and pleasant walk in the woods, off the beaten path. This land is home to many special plants and wildlife, from pink and yellow ladyslippers to rare salamanders. Keep your eyes open and you never know what you might see! Within the Nature Preserve we suggest the hike to Rattlesnake Rock via a “lollipop loop” of the FNP Access Trail, Blue, White, and Red Trails (4.2 miles round-trip)
