Suches, GA
Located atop a mountain at the edge of the National Forest and the Coopers Creek Wildlife Management Area, this two bedroom cabin offers views and stunning sunsets from both decks. This home sleeps 4 comfortably in its 2 bedroom 1 bath setup. One bedroom is located on the main floor, with the second bedroom being up a spiral staircase leading to a loft with views from the porch. With its full kitchen, Wifi, television, fireplace and beautiful porch views, Mountain Vista is the perfect place to enjoy a mountain getaway. The main level contains a large porch with rocking chairs to enjoy the scenery and a grill for outdoors cooking. From the lofted second level there is an additional porch with exceptional views and an intimate seating. This is a phenomenal spot to sit and view the stars above or wildlife below!
Mountain Vista is located close to tons of great outdoors excursions. It directly overlooks the Coopers Creek WMA, where fishing and hunting opportunities abound. The home is also situated just across the highway from the Toccoa River and is adjacent to the Chattahoochee National Forest. This area is perfect for mountain biking, fishing the small tributaries of the Toccoa River, and exploring the Chattahoochee National Forest.
The Cabin is not far from Lake Winfield Scott, and is also just down the road from Vogel State Park, the Appalachian Trail as well.
For avid anglers, the property is close to a number of other streams that run through public lands. We also suggest Black Mountain Trout Ponds, Coopers Creek, Frogtown Creek, and the Chestatee River. There are numerous other great trout fisheries in the area as well and some of these waters hold other species like largemouth bass and panfish, with those and other species also being plentiful in Lake Winfield Scott, Vogel State Park.
The cabin is also near several other Georgia Wildlife Management Areas that provide hunting and other outdoors opportunities, in addition to Coopers Creek WMA. Be sure to check out Chestatee WMA and Blueridge WMA, both are just a short drive away.
