The Cool change features one bedroom (queen), stowaway bunk beds, and a pull-out couch, one large bathroom, a full kitchen and living area. Located conveniently in Eastpoint, Florida, the Cool Change Cottage is a sportsman's dream. For the fisherman, pleasure cruiser, or waterfowler, launch your boat from the Patton Road Boat Ramp just a few paces from the cottage, and start your bay adventures. The draft of the channel at the nearby ramp is 12-18", but those needing more can easily access other ramps in Eastpoint or on nearby St. George island, Apalachicola, and Lanark Village. Fishermen can target redfish, seatrout, flounder, tripletail and a litany of other species in the bay. And don't forget about the Forgotten Coast's scalloping opportunities! For the waterfowlers, our bay is world renowned for its diver hunting, including some of the bed Redhead hunting in the United States. If you'd rather hang around the property, you can fish, stargaze, or just relax while the waters of the Apalachicola Bay lap against our dock. For the landlubbers, there are also plenty of nearby nature and hiking trails--Tate's Hell is worth a visit and is located just North of Eastpoint.  The outdoor opportunities don't stop there: kayakers, birders, and general outdoors enthusiasts will find our listings perfect for your next trip. And when you're not out adventuring, there are plenty of shops in Eastpoint and Apalachicola, and the house is near lots of oyster-houses and restaurants!
