Welcome to our special cabin on the Chattahoochee! The property has been in the family for four generations. The house has been completely renovated, everything is brand new except for the beautiful 180 degrees of river views. It is an easy, level, half-mile walk along the river into downtown Helen. Enjoy the many restaurants in town or grill your own dinner on the deck. The cabin is a two bedroom, each with a queen bed. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room which is best if traveling with kids. So while we advertise we sleep 6, the cabin does not allow more than 4 adults.  Come relax and enjoy our North Georgia mountain home! From our house you can directly access the world famous Chattahoochee river. The "Hooch" is an outdoor paradise teaming with rainbow and brown trout, great for tubing, and excellent for nature viewing and birdwatching. Bring your own tube and float directly from the front yard! For those wishing to go off-campus, our cabin is located just a few minutes drive from some of the best fishing, hunting, hiking, mountain biking and waterfall viewing in the state. Nearby public lands include: Unicoi State Park, Smithgall Woods, Harman Farms, and Dukes Creek (where the fish in our listing was caught and released). Relax and enjoy our little slice of Heaven! Because we get asked often, it’s important to note here that due to family with allergies who visit the cabin often, we cannot allow pets. Happy to answer any other questions you have.
