Azalea Tiny Home: A Remote Retreat
Suches, GA
Escape to the remote retreat of Azalea Tiny Home in the Chattahoochee National Forest. This cozy abode is one of six accommodations surrounded by public lands, offering a tranquil getaway. The tiny home features one bedroom, a bathroom, a full kitchen, a spacious deck with a grill, and a television. Enjoy the peaceful amenities, from stargazing under the night sky to gathering around the firepit. Pets are welcome too, providing the perfect setting for a serene mountain adventure.
Azalea is surrounded by access to the great outdoors! It is conveniently located a short distance from great hiking, mountain biking, waterfall viewing, and fishing. For example, there are numerous hiking and fishing opportunities along the scenic Cooper Creek. The home is also very close to Woody Gap on the Appalachian Trail. We also recommend the nearby Duncan Ridge Trail, the Benton Mackaye trail, or a visit to the Toccoa Swinging Bridge. For those who like to paddle, one of the best places in North Georgia to kayak, canoe, or float in a tube, is located along the nearby Toccoa River. Likewise, the Toccoa and Coopers Creek also provide some great fishing opportunities. Rainbow & Brown Trout can be targeted, as well as many species of panfish and bass including largemouth and redeye bass. If angling is in your veins, the Rock Creek Fish Hatchery is also worth a visit! For hunters, there are numerous Wildlife Management Areas in the area (like Coopers Creek WMA) and opportunities throughout the Chattahoochee National Forest.
Azalea is also centrally located near many waterfalls that can provide both a short hike and a beautiful view! We recommend Sea Creek falls, Canada Creek falls, and Helton Creek falls. Lastly, for family adventures--or just an easy day activity--we think you'll enjoy visiting the nearby parks: Vogel State Park (hiking, nature trails, swimming, fishing) and Lake Winfield Scott (picnicking, hiking, swimming).
